This compact cross table with integrated linear motor drive enables laser trimming of SMD (surface-mounted device) components.
The focus here was on high positioning and thus machining accuracy as well as the encapsulation of the installed drive. With the use of linear motors, the drive force can be transmitted directly to the motion platform without wear – and with minimal installation space.
